With over 30 years of leadership experience in the mortgage lending & IT industry, Krishan Gupta is a recognized expert in compliance, ethics, and financial services. His career is marked by deep collaborations with federal, state, and local agencies, including Housing and Urban Development (HUD), DC’s Housing Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP), and Montgomery County’s Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) program. Krishan is highly experienced in originating, underwriting, and processing loans, ensuring seamless settlement processes.

Throughout his career, Krishan has excelled in sales performance and customer engagement, working with top-tier financial institutions such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. His knowledge spans all facets of mortgage banking products, regulations, and loan origination strategies, including radio and television-driven lead generation.

In addition to his work with prominent mortgage companies, Krishan successfully founded and grew Mortgage Advantage, Inc., a multi-state brokerage with four locations. As CEO and President, he built a thriving business with over $75 million in annual loan originations, overseeing operations, compliance, and personnel management. His ability to anticipate market trends and mentor teams has earned him multiple accolades for excellence in both business growth and regulatory compliance.

Krishan holds an MBA from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. A committed professional, he is a member of the National and Maryland Associations of Mortgage Brokers and continually exceeds continuing education requirements.
